Who is this meeting for?
Anyone who lives at RCY is welcome to attend. Members, non-members, leaseholder/owners and tenants. Free entry. The only requirement is that you currently live at or own a residential property at RCY. Sign in is required.
What's happening at the meeting?
A brief presentation from RMG, the Property Management company responsible for the maintenance of the site communal areas and most of the buildings. Also for the collection of Service Charges. This will be followed by a Q&A session for residents.
Questions for the Property Manager may be asked in advance using the online form
(click here) or from the floor during the meeting. This part of the meeting is expected to conclude at approximately 8.15pm.
Annual General Meeting (RCMRA)
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) for RCMRA will follow the RMG presentation at approximately 8.25pm. This meeting is also open to non-members, owners & tenants living East of Weevil Lane.
The AGM will include various reports, the formal election of Committee members for the coming year and a Q&A session for attendees.
How do I nominate/vote for someone to represent my block for the Committee?
If you wish to nominate yourself or another member of the Residents Association for a role on the Committee, you/your household must be a paid-up member of the Royal Clarence Marina Residents Association by 20:00 on 24th November 2022.
If you are nominating someone else, you must check with them in advance that they are a paid-up member of the Residents Association and that they are willing to be nominated.
Any nomination for a role on the RA Committee must also be seconded by another member (not from the same household as you or the nominee). If you can do this in advance, this is helpful, but it may be possible to obtain a seconder at the meeting.
The Nomination form should be completed and sent to the Secretary (info@ rcmra.co.uk) by 4pm on 24th November 2022. If there is more than one nomination for any role on the committee, there will be a vote by members at the meeting.
I can't come to the meeting. How do I ask a question or vote?
